Stastny Garden Art Gallery

Everyone has done it. Passed many roadside attractions doing 65 miles per hour not even noticing the enchanting place to stop and explore.

Stastny Gardens and Art Gallery is one of these roadside gems. Basically it’s three attractions in one, a wonderful garden with many different types of trees, shrubs and flowers, an art gallery with featured local artists and a showcase of unique hand-carved stone pots for plants, fountains and firepots.

Art Elements Gallery

Art is one of the fundamental elements of the Yamhill Valley wine country experience, which is why I totally get the name of the Art Elements Gallery.

The gallery, located in the historic downtown of Newberg, is a great first stop when looking for fine arts, crafts and unique offerings from over 60 local Oregon artists. Each month (generally around the third Thursday) the gallery is transformed to showcase a new artist or group of artists.

Cannon Beach Gallery Group

Cannon Beach has been a destination town since its inception, but during more modern times, it is being known more and more for its fine food and art.

In downtown Cannon Beach lining Hemlock and Spruce streets there is a group of galleries that instead of compete, complement.

Started more than a decade ago, the Cannon Beach Gallery Group was formed to start a spring unveiling of new art, and it has turned into a group that helps promote each other, support each other and, yes, even complement each other.

Chehalem Cultural Center

What was once the site of an elementary school has transformed into another type of center for learning. Instead of recesses and hot lunch, the once Central Elementary School is now a place to learn about everything from ceramics, to photography, to performing arts. The Chehalem Cultural Center, a non-profit organization, opened in March 2010 and has since been enriching lives through arts, culture, and heritage.

Currents Gallery

Nestled in historic downtown McMinnville is a gallery that features Oregon artists, run by Oregon artists.

Currents Gallery is owned by eight local artists who know how to keep the content fresh with pieces that range from paintings to sculptures and everything in between.

Lawrence Gallery

If you love the beauty and wonder you can find at the Oregon coast, there is a spot, in between Lincoln City and Newport, where there is beauty you can take home.

The Lawrence Gallery has hundreds of examples of awe-inspiring artwork that will add that spark to any business office, living room or entry way. The gallery shows many different media including bronze sculptures, paintings and wall-hangings. Styles range from metalwork, to ceramic, to oils and pastels.
