Crosswater is a heathland style course that lays upon six-hundred acres of wonderous woodlands and wetlands. Because of its scenic beauty, it was honored by Gold Digest as one of "America's 100 Greatest Courses," and is regularly on the top lists for public access golf courses. The course is a regular hosting site for many of golf's largest events like the PGA of America Championships.

Hellgate Jetboat Excursions draws nearly 85,000 people every season, which runs from May through September. Visitors from all over the world make Grants Pass’ Hellgate Jetboats their destination in order to board the propeller-less boat that is pushed by the hydro-jet that glides just inches above the water's surface.
Meadows at Sunriver Resort
Another one of Sunriver's Artisan courses, Meadows is the work of the architect John Fought. Featuring 18 holes, seven bordering the Sunriver River, the course pays tribute to the golf courses made in the 1920's and 30's, showcasing artistic grace while providing challenges for all levels of golfers with the use of directional and fore-bunkers.
The Meadows has payed host to many USGA and NCAA championships, much like Crosswater.

O.A.R.S. was the first exclusively oar-powered rafting company permitted to operate trips on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and the company has been running 3- to 5-day rafting trips on the Wild & Scenic Rogue River since 1969.

Woodlands at Sunriver Resort
The Woodlands is a favorite of golfers on the Northwest coast because of its beautiful setting and the challenge it offers to its players. The Woodlands has plenty of water and outcrops of lava rocks which demand precise accuracy of the shots you take. The magnificent course was designed by the renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. and was what earned Sunriver resort the Gold Medal Award-Winning Resort title of Golf Magazine.

The river and its famed heavy runs of summer steelhead first found recognition when writer and sports angler Major Lawrence Mott, dubbed the millionaire reporter, established a fishing camp in the area in 1929.

About the Hike: Just as beautiful, but more accessible than the more famous Wallowa Mountains nearby, the Elkhorn Range boasts craggy granite peaks and high alpine lakes surrounded by wildflowers. A paved road climbs to a lovely campground and picnic area beside 7,140-foot-high Anthony Lake. From here hikers can stroll around the lake in half an hour or tackle a more demanding 8.2-mile loop around Gunsight Mountain.
Bagby Hot Springs
Walk through an old-growth forest to the best wild, free hot springs in Northwest Oregon
About the Hike: Hollowed-out cedar logs serve as 8-foot-long bathtubs at this rustic, free hot springs. Even if you don't plan to soak, the trail here is a delight, through a towering old-growth forest. Expect crowds on weekends and in summer.
Difficulty: An easy, 3-mile walk round-trip, with just 200 feet of elevation gain.
Season: Open all year.
